Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Dietitian (Mental Health) & to join our busy Mental Health Dietetics Service based at South Essex. Our friendly and growing team is ready to welcome new team members who share our passion for improving access and the quality of care for people with Mental Health conditions in inpatient and community settings. The working hours are 37.5hours per week andflexible working can be agreed., The post holder will take a clinical role in the Mental Health Dietetics team within the EPUT MH Services. They will work as a dietetic practitioner within uni-professional and multi-professional team environments with regular supervision. They will be working as a part of the integrated team of therapists. To provide specialist assessment and management skills of a dietitian, working with other members of the MDT to provide evidence-based patient-centred care. There will also be the opportunity to provide leadership and supervision to junior staff and students. The post holder will receive regular professional and management supervision and will be supported to develop skills in this specialist area. As this is a community post, post holder will be required to travel around to other Trust sites and to community.
