Full Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join the Nutrition and Dietetic service in AWP. This role will be based with the MDT at the Victoria Centre in Swindon with travel to Devizes to provide cover for the inpatient ward on the Green Lane Hospital site., To assist in providing, maintaining and developing a clinical dietetic service within AWP.
To plan, justify and be responsible for the delivery of specialised dietary advice to service users and their families / carers.
To plan, manage and prioritise own clinical workload and to ensure maximum efficiency in all areas.
To plan, coordinate and deliver nutrition / dietetic training for professional and support staff.
To participate in dietetic student training.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative Dietitian with excellent communication skills and an interest in mental health.
Working with across the inpatient setting you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in a variety of areas including, nutrition support, diabetes, weight management and behavioural change.
You will work alongside our highly experienced multidisciplinary team, whilst also receiving support from the Nutrition and Dietetics team based at the hospital and our trust wide highly specialist Dietitians.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 12 months experience as a Dietitian in an acute setting.
