Full Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Band 6 Midwife and be part of a supportive environment that champions flexible team working. In this role, you will:

  • Provide Comprehensive Care: Deliver care over a 24-hour period in the woman's chosen place of birth, covering all aspects of antenatal and postnatal care.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Apply your knowledge and skills to offer evidence-based midwifery care, meeting the diverse needs of women and their families.
  • Quality Standards: Assist the senior midwife in monitoring and enhancing quality standards that impact care provision.
  • Leadership Support: Step up to support the senior midwife and take on delegated responsibilities in their absence.
  • Continuous Development: Maintain and develop your personal and professional knowledge and skills, ensuring the highest standards of client care. Keep an updated personal portfolio.
  • Versatile Duties: Undertake any other duties that align with the nature of the role, responsibilities, and grade.
