Full Job Description

We are looking for a nuclear medicine technologist with, ideally, both general nuclear medicine as well as PET/CT experience to join our dynamic team of technologists and radiographers.

Royal Free Nuclear Medicine is a busy department within a large teaching hospital in North London by Hampstead Heath. We have three Siemens gamma cameras, two of which are SPECT/CT, two recently installed Siemens PET/CT scanners, one being the UK's first Vision Quadra, longaxial field of view scanner.

We have a nationally renown radionuclide therapy service, bone densitometry service, invitro lab and radiopharmacy unit. Many of our services are technologist/radiographer led and we are supported by our colleagues; all part of a department of 50+ staff, made up of doctors, physicists, administrators, radiopharmacy staff and technologists/radiographers.

The successful candidate must work well in a team environment, be willing to work at times under pressure and represent the department and the Trust utilising the World Class Care values.
