Full Job Description

The team offer a range of recovery and treatment opportunities for service users in the community from the most appropriate professional(s)/support staff at the right time.

The team in reach to inpatient medium and low secure care services to service users preparing to transition to less restrictive environments in the community.

The successful candidates will demonstrate an understanding of the challenges of transitions from secure care and the impact of mental illness, and conditions on function. You will demonstrate compassion towards the service user population and demonstrate how you appreciate diversity when delivering services. You will need proven delivery of delivering therapeutic interventions and application of the OT process to identify and outcome treatment plans.

The post requires the candidates to have highly effective and adaptive communication styles and good conflict management strategies. When working with people with challenging behaviours you will need to demonstrate good well-being strategies for yourself and your colleagues and emotional intelligence.

The team have an active and positive attitude towards in innovation, audit, and service development. This is supported through regular supervision, reflective practice groups, peer supervision groups and annual development reviews. CPD is strongly supported and encouraged.
