Full Job Description

Are you a band 5 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist looking to develop your career further? Or a band 6 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist who has considered a role in the community? This could the opportunity you have been waiting for!

Solihull Community Therapy Team provide rehabilitation services for patients being discharged from acute hospitals, as well as receiving referrals from GPs and other secondary care facilities for patients within the community who have therapy goals to achieve. The role will also include elements of triage and rapid response cover.

Please note applicants will require their own vehicle and must hold a valid UK driver's licence, The successful candidate will work as part of a well-established and respected therapy team. The Solihull Community Therapy Team has interdisciplinary ways of working to facilitate early supported discharges from the acute setting, admission avoidance and routine therapy. You will be expected to work in a person-centred manner in order to achieve positive patient and service outcomes.

The Trust is committed to providing a 7 day therapy service. This role includes participation in a weekend cover rota, and physiotherapists will be expected to participate in the respiratory oncall rota.
