Full Job Description

Pre-assessment is pivotal in reaching the 18 week RTT target by the assessment of patients general health and fitness before surgery and carrying out various tests and investigations.,

  • The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills and be adaptable to a busy clinic environment, and managing their own caseload of patients.
  • They must be keen to learn and develop new skills through the availability of a variety of training opportunities, including the physical assessment course.
  • Staff are encouraged and given the opportunity to continue their professional development through attendance on relevant courses provided by both City and Southbank Universities.
  • The post holder will be required to work within a challenging clinical environment and may need to undertake shift work.

    The applicant should have at least 2 years surgical experience at Band 5 and be looking to extend their knowledge and autonomy.
