Full Job Description

A valuable opportunity has opened for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team of Rotational Clinical Pharmacists.
The successful candidate will gain comprehensive experience across a variety of clinical areas, including Medicine, Surgery, Elderly Care, and Acute Admissions, with additional rotations in Medicines Information, Technical Services, and Patient Services.
The role includes:
+ Providing pharmaceutical care to patients from admission to discharge on the wards.
+ Participating in the multi-disciplinary team at ward level.
+ Day to day working with the Medicines Management Technicians.
+ Providing prescribing advice and support to junior medical staff.
+ Educating patients about their medicines.
+ Participation in clinical audit., The department has excellent links with the University of Hertfordshire and opportunities are available for rotational clinical pharmacists to undertake the Joint Programmes Board (JPB) clinical diploma, supported and mentored by our highly skilled team.
