An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our Band 6 Rehab Rotational scheme, rotating on a 9 monthly rotation in the following clinical areas:
- Acute Stroke Unit
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Early Supported Discharge (ESD)
- Medical
- Community Inpatient Rehabilitation - Farnham This rotation will allow you to develop as a Band 6 and gain experience in a supportive and friendly environment. You will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and managerially where excellence and commitment to trust values is encouraged. We are committed to providing the best possible service to our patients offering a range of specialized Physiotherapy input to patients, enabling them to achieve their full potential., To complete 9 monthly rotations through Stroke Unit/Neuro, Stroke Early Supported Discharge (ESD), Farnham Community Hospital Rehab wards, Emergency Department (ED), Medical Wards. To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in assessing and treating patients who may have an acute, complex presentation. To work alongside and communicate with Primary care providers and community services to ensure a safe rapid assessment and discharge of patients in an acute, fast paced environment. To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists / technicians / assistants and students and be involved in teaching MDT staff. To participate in CPD and other departmental activities.Working for our organisation Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and south Buckinghamshire.
