Band 6 Senior Dietitian- Critical Care

The roles and responsibilities include undertaking nutrition assessment, developing enteral or oral nutrition feeding plans, managing and monitoring nutrition related issues such as enteral feeding intolerances.

We have an opportunity for a caring and highly motivated Dietitian who has experience of working in teams to work alongside a critical team of Band 7 Dietitians. The team is led by one of the Band 8a clinical leads in the department. You will be expected to provide a service to our highly specialised, complex patients with upper/lower gastroenterology, intestinal failure, hepato-bilo-pancreatic surgery, liver transplant and complex surgery., You should have dietetic experience within complex surgery. Also experience, skills and knowledge in enteral feeding, home tube feeding, nutritional support, education, training, clinical supervision, teaching and audit.

You will be involved in personal and staff development through reflective practice, competency assessment, mentoring and student training.
