Full Job Description
A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Senior HR Adviser to join our Operational Human Resources team at Watford General Hospital., We're looking for a Senior HR Adviser to support our leaders within our Hospital supporting managers. You'll also provide support to one of our HR Business Partners to address workforce issues such as recruitment, retention and absence and work with services to develop and implement initiatives to deliver high quality services.
You will need to demonstrate experience of working in an HR generalist role, advising managers on a wide range of employee relations issues, and have experience of working in partnership with trade union organisations. You'll have the confidence and skill to be able to take a coaching approach with the managers you support.
Excellent communication skills are a must and you'll have great people skills and the ability to build excellent working relationships with managers and colleagues in your team. Good organisation and prioritisation skills are also essential for this demanding yet rewarding role.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
