Full Job Description

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about providing first class assessment & treatment to people who had a fall. You will be working as a Senior Physiotherapist within Falls Prevention assisting in the implementation of the National Service Framework for Older People - Standard 6. You will be expected to work multi-professionally and support other team member's roles and contribute to the future development of the service. You should be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge & evidence of CPD & be prepared to contribute to our comprehensive IST programme & clinical interest groups.

You will be responsible for managing your own patient caseload within a supportive & experienced team and it is likely that you will supervise junior members of staff and students. There will be the opportunity to initiate, lead on & contribute to service development initiatives and be involved in regular audits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for dedicated and self-motivated Band 6 Physiotherapists to join the community-based falls and fracture prevention service within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The Service includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurse and therapy assistants. We are a community-based falls service providing falls assessment within the person's own home to the diverse local communities. We accept referrals from GPs, ACPs and Allied Health Professionals., We are looking for a suitable qualified Physiotherapist to join our friendly and innovative team. Evidence of substantial post graduate experience of working in community Rehab. is essential and previous NHS experience is desirable. Operating hours are from 8 am to 6 pm and there may be the opportunity for flexible working.
