Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse

As a Band 6 Nurse on the ward, you will be responsible for leading safe shifts, offering guidance and support to Registered Nurses, Nursing Associates, Trainee nursing associates , Student Nurses and Healthcare Assistants in providing care to their patients. You will work closely with other disciplines within our integrated multidisciplinary team (MDT). In addition, you will manage a team, ensuring that appraisals (PDRs), mandatory training, and sickness management are up to date. You will also be responsible for improving compliance and results in clinical audits., As a band 6 Nurse on the ward, you will be responsible for leading a safe shift offering the Registered Nurses, Nursing Associates and Healthcare Assistants advice and support to care for their patients, you will be doing this alongside the other disciplines within our integrated MDT.
