Full Job Description

To demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in the care of patients receiving emergency or clinically urgent treatment in the department. Continuous assessment of patients and aiding towards the 4-hour target.

As a Sister/Charge Nurse you will be required to support the senior and junior team in ensuring the needs of our patients are met through the delivery of high-quality care. The role involves working as part of a large multidisciplinary team including the ED medical team, clinical practice educators safeguarding, mental health liaison team and clinical specialties.

The Emergency Department sees approximately 90,000 patients per year. We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated team player to come and join us.

The successful applicant will be required to deliver patient care and manage all areas within the department demonstrating professionalism, clinical expertise with excellent communication skills in all aspects of their work.
