Full Job Description

  • The unsupervised repair and maintenance of medical equipment for UHB NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Assisting clinical and nursing staff in proper configuration and use of medical equipment.
  • Support the use and implementation of the Departmental Equipment Management System.
  • Have the knowledge of and support the use of the Department's Quality Management System.
  • The post holder will have knowledge of all Departmental procedures, health and safety regulations and any legislation that is relevant to the job.
  • This post will be specifically aimed at supporting the Maternity unit at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital so knowledge and experience of working in a Maternity environment is essential.
