The post holder will be offering consultation, assessment and treatment to young people with mental and emotional health difficulties alongside their families The team have a senior psychologist who will support your professional development. There are other professionals with a variety of skills and knowledge from a diverse range of backgrounds. You should be passionate about working within a multi professional team in order to meet he needs of young people.
As a service and team we would be keen to help you develop your areas of clinical interest.

To provide a specialist clinical psychology assessment, treatment and consultation service to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and their families who are referred to CAMHS
To provide experience and in working with other agencies around providing appropriate assessment, support and treatment.
To clinically supervise trainee clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, less
experienced psychology staff, and other professionals.
To contribute to audit, research, policy and service development within the areas
served by the Psychological Therapies Service.
To develop and deliver training in psychological assessment and therapies for multidisciplinary staff.

We have an opportunity to join our experienced and established team of Clinical Psychologists within our multidisciplinary Community CAMHS Team.
You will have be qualified and registered as a Clinical Psychologist. You will also have experience of working with children and young people, preferably within a community CAMHS service.
South Bristol CAMHS is within easy commuting distance to Bristol City Centre and is a growing multi-cultural area with numerous amenities, art projects and a thriving community scene. There are a number of open green spaces and plans to increase the cycle routes that connect across the city.
