Full Job Description
Are you looking to be part of a new initiative in our Solar 0-19 years emotional wellbeing and mental health service? We are looking for CAMHS Practitioners for these new roles to help us support children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties who are currently awaiting further therapeutic support.
We are piloting a new way of supporting children and young people with short-term focussed intensive goal based interventions. There are opportunities to help consider the interventions offered based on client needs and these roles would suit practitioners who can engage and support clients in a creative way. We are evaluating this approach using a Quality Improvement framework as a way of supporting the wider work that is conducted in Solar.
As a CAMHS Practitioner or equivalent applied psychological practitioner the roles will provide short-term focussed interventions to children and young people who are awaiting further therapeutic support from Solar. Clinical supervision is provided. The roles will be based within the Solar core team and will part of the MDT, including the opportunities for CPD. There will also be an evaluation of the new initiative . We would welcome any informal discussion about the posts.
