Band 7 Children's Outreach Specialist Nurse

The Outreach Nursing Team possesses a wealth of experience in specialist palliative care, supporting children, their families and professionals involved, with advice, symptom control support and management throughout the palliative care pathway in a variety of community settings within the 6 counties of the catchment area. We are looking for a Band 7 Childrens Outreach Specialist Nurse for a 1 year fixed term maternity cover. You will need to be an autonomous practitioner with community experience and have the vision to deliver and support exceptional palliative care within a variety of settings which will make a real difference to children and their families. You will work as part of a wider team of other nurses, doctors, nursery nurses, Family Support Services and Volunteers within Helen & Douglas House as well as working collaboratively with external multi-disciplinary professionals in the childs own community and help drive our service forward. This is a full-time 1-year fixed term maternity cover (part time hours will be considered).Pay range is £49,873 £56,920 per annum pro rata., 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 28 days after 3 years, and 29 days after 5 years of service.
