Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, full time, Clinical Nurse Specialist for Women's Health-Gynae Oncology. You will join an existing team providing high quality clinical and personalised care to patients of Royal Free London NHS Trust: Barnet and Chase. You will be a forward thinking, highly motivated individual, who enjoys working with medically and socially complex patients. You will manage your own caseload of patients and will be well supported by the multi -disciplinary team. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to support and advocate for patients., We have an exciting opportunity for a Gynaecology Oncology CNS to join our Cancer Services Team based between Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals.

As a member of the multidisciplinary team you will work collaboratively with other members of the MDT to provide the highest standards of specialist nursing care to patients within gynae-oncology.

There is also opportunity to really develop this role, along with our other gynae-oncology nurse specialist team, encompassing nurse led clinics such as vaginal dilation and rapid access / hysteroscopy.

You will need to be passionate about women's health and have extensive experience of gynaecology and / or oncology, and experience of working with women with gynaecological cancers. Excellent communication skills are essential and involves supporting women with a new diagnosis, those under continuing care and managing patients who phone in for support.

This role requires linking with other CNS's at Barnet, the Royal Free Hospital and University College London and will involve clinical and administrative duties alongside a teaching and supportive role.

This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Some late evening / weekend work may be required., £51,883 to £58,544 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS
