Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist Multiple Sclerosis

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Neurology Multiple Sclerosis team at the RFH as MS nurse specialist. We are looking for a nurse who has experience of working with people with Multiple Sclerosis or experience in neurology, ideally having worked as a clinical nurse specialist although induction, training and support will be provided according to their level of experience. This is a fixed term 12 months post to cover maternity leave.

The post holder will need to be innovative and active in improving patient pathways. They will have excellent communications skills and will be able to work collaboratively with members of the team., The successful candidate will join a well-established, experienced and friendly Multiple Sclerosis team. They are expected to work autonomously, they will be well supported and supervised within their role and have the opportunity to develop management and service improvement skills. We will consider for the appropriate applicant a development role at band 6 working towards a band 7. There will be excellent opportunities to help further your own professional development through internal and external courses.
