Location: Based at the Respiratory Centres at Watford General Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
+ Lead the new sleep diagnostics service within Respiratory Physiology.
+ Perform sleep diagnostics in both clinic and hospital settings.
+ Conduct comprehensive respiratory function testing.
+ Support CPET (Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing) clinics.
+ Assist in the training and development of junior staff.
This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, following a departmental rota with core hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Respiratory Physiologist to lead the Sleep Service within Respiratory Physiology.
As part of our respiratory service transformation, we are expanding diagnostic sleep work for both inpatients and outpatients.
The ideal candidate will hold a BSc degree in Clinical Physiology along with a relevant professional qualification (ARTP Part 1 & Part 2).
Extensive experience in a pulmonary function laboratory is required, along with AHCS registration or eligibility for it, as well as experience in performing sleep diagnostics and treatments is essential.
Our department values and supports research and audits, so experience in these areas would also be beneficial.
