Are you a Band 7 role specialising in neurorehabilitation? We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join out team to cover a fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a step up to expand their clinical and leadership experience and looking to specialise in and develop further skills in neurorehabilitation in a community setting.

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and flexible in their approach, and who is able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and leadership in the assessment and management of neurological patients. You will be joining a friendly, well-established team, working alongside experienced colleagues.

You must be able to demonstrate strong evidence-based clinical knowledge and skills within the specialty of neurorehabilitation , including that of acquired and progressive neurological conditions such as Motor Neuron Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain injuries.

Person-centred care and an approach which promotes self-management are at the centre of our philosophy as a service., You will have substantial post graduate experience, including working within neurological and community settings with evidence of relevant post graduate training. You will have been involved in service development projects and have experience managing and supervising staff and working within a multi-disciplinary team.

The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. This is a community role and requires you to travel between sites in a timely manner.

The Community Neurological Conditions Management Team (CNCMT) provides a range of community and outpatient assessment and intervention to adults with neurological conditions (excluding Stroke and Parkinson's disease) in the north London borough of Barnet.

The post holder will jointly lead the physiotherapy team with another band 7 and hold a clinical caseload which will include a combination of outpatients and community appointments. This position presents an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical, service development and supervisory skills. You will also be joining a dynamic multidisciplinary team at the Royal Free Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, taking an active part in project work and service development activities within the neuro physiotherapy and NRC teams., The CNCMT service is passionate about developing and delivering a world class care service, in the community and clients own home, and will provide training and development opportunities, including supervision and appraisal, to ensure you are supported in your role.

There is an in-service training programme, clinical supervision and opportunities to attend other in-house and training relevant to the role. Applicants will be supported and given opportunity to take part in quality improvement ideas and initiatives to improve staff wellbeing , patient experience, and patient outcomes.
