Undertake this leadership role alongside the IDT, conducting a regular evaluation of the physiotherapy service in the designated clinical area, evaluating the physiotherapy provision and optimising effectiveness and efficiency.
Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with complex neuro-disability, using advanced clinical reasoning skills and assessment techniques, interpreting and analysing clinical and non-clinical facts to form accurate diagnoses and prognoses in order to recommend the best course of intervention.
Hold clinical responsibility for a specific caseload, organising this effectively and efficiently with regard to service requirements, clinical priorities and use of time., Undertake a team leader role, alongside the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, in planning and co-ordinating the delivery of the physiotherapy service in the designated clinical area on a day-to-day basis
To provide supervisory support for the Senior II Physiotherapist and therapy support staff working in the Neuro-Behavioural and Huntingtons Disease services and the wider clinical area within the Physiotherapy department.
To demonstrate effective working as part of the Neuro-Behavioural Services transdisciplinary team, to uphold patient values and orientation towards their goals.
To demonstrate an awareness of RHNs objectives and values and contribute to achieving them appropriately.
To strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of your work.
To ensure professionalism and excellent communication with staff, patients andrelatives in routine and complex circumstances, including holding difficult conversations.
