Full Job Description
- Undertake this leadership role alongside the IDT, conducting a regular evaluation of the physiotherapy service in the designated clinical area, evaluating the physiotherapy provision and optimising effectiveness and efficiency.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with complex neuro-disability, using advanced clinical reasoning skills and assessment techniques, interpreting and analysing clinical and non-clinical facts to form accurate diagnoses and prognoses in order to recommend the best course of intervention.
- Hold clinical responsibility for a specific caseload, organising this effectively and efficiently with regard to service requirements, clinical priorities and use of time., Undertake a team leader role, alongside the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, in planning and co-ordinating the delivery of the physiotherapy service in the designated clinical area on a day-to-day basis
- To provide supervisory support for the Senior II Physiotherapist and therapy support staff working in the Neuro-Behavioural and Huntingtons Disease services and the wider clinical area within the Physiotherapy department.
- To demonstrate effective working as part of the Neuro-Behavioural Services transdisciplinary team, to uphold patient values and orientation towards their goals.
- To demonstrate an awareness of RHNs objectives and values and contribute to achieving them appropriately.
- To strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of your work.
- To ensure professionalism and excellent communication with staff, patients andrelatives in routine and complex circumstances, including holding difficult conversations.
