Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Clinical Technologist in Radiotherapy Physics at our Queen Elizabeth Hospital site to lead the Mould Room service., The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day running of the Radiotherapy Physics Mould Room Service. This will include but not be limited to: creating bespoke immobilisation devices for patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment, including thermoplastic masks, lead masks for superficial treatment, vacuum bags, specific boluses, training of staff, of all bands from apprentices upwards, and maintaining staff training records, developing the service and keeping abreast of current developments, stock control and obtaining quotes, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best quality treatment for our patients.

Due to our commitment to ensuring the best care for our patients, the post holder will be expected to participate in an on-call weekend rota.
