Full Job Description

Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Acting as the musculoskeletal Clinical Specialist within the RRU Multi Disciplinary Injury Assessment Clinic (MIAC). Performing highly skilled assessments of patients referred to the RRU from across Defence Healthcare. This will include diverse, complex, multiple, acute and chronic physical and psychological conditions, sports and training injuries. Using clinical reasoning skills to provide accurate clinical diagnoses and appropriate care pathway plans. Assisting the MIAC consultant in appropriately referring patients for clinical imaging and secondary care, in line with national and locally agreed guidelines. Providing comprehensive progress and discharge reports to colleagues and referring clinicians.
