Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse to join our established and dynamic multidisciplinary team. Our unit is committed to providing the highest standard of care with a strong emphasis on parents as partners in care. Our main focus is creating a supportive and collaborative environment for both patients and families, ensuring the delivery of family-centred care that meets the unique needs of each infant., The key responsibilities of a successful candidate would include;
- Lead and support a team of neonatal nurses in delivering high quality, compassionate care to the babies and their families in our care.
- Work closely with parents and their families, promoting their involvement in care decisions and empowering them to be part of the team caring for their baby.
- Support the development of clinical policies and guidelines in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Continuously drive for change whilst ensuring safe, evidence-based practice is followed, maintaining high standards of clinical care and patient safety.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in line with the Trust values where professionalism and confidentiality are maintained atall times. The individual will need to be hard working and have a keen interest in developing their knowledge and skills in order to progress within the role. You will be expected to rotate between shifts covering days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. In line with the trusts flexible working vision we do however utilise self rostering.

£51,883 to £58,544 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS
