Full Job Description

The caseload is varied. The Trust have a large Cystic Fibrosis population who are seen regularly as part of planned admissions and in regular outpatient clinics.
The paediatric team also cover complex respiratory patients, surgical patients, orthopaedics, general medical, neurology as well as cover for the SCBU unit and Bayley clinics.
The team have good links with our local Community Therapy service, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Brompton specifically regarding the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) caseload. There are regular joint/ shared care clinics with the Brompton CF Team., The successful candidate will need to demonstrate confidence in managing respiratory patients with complex, long-term needs, including those with Cystic Fibrosis.
Ideally, the post holder should have training in the Bayley Infant Neurodevelopmental Assessment, though support for this training can be provided.
Applicants should be comfortable supporting a small team of physiotherapy staff and eager to collaborate in delivering and coordinating service coverage within the broader therapy team.
The role will also include a key responsibility in the service training program, ensuring staff are skilled in managing children with respiratory needs and developing necessary competencies in this area.

We are seeking a part-time Band 7 Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our therapy team in a permanent role, working 32 hours per week.
The successful candidate will participate in our seven-day therapy rota, working one in every six weekends, with compensatory rest days the following week. This role also includes participation in the on-call service.
Candidates should have prior experience working with paediatric patients at a Band 6 level. The role involves providing physiotherapy to both inpatients and outpatients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
We offer a range of training opportunities to help you develop your specialist skills in alignment with your PDR, as well as regular senior leadership training and access to externally funded courses.
