This exciting opportunity will include early assessment of patients, access to investigations, consultation, independent prescribing, and liaison with medical, nursing, AHP and support teams. If you do not hear back within 3 weeks of your application, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion., Under the direction of the ED consultants, the trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in the Emergency Department will provide expert assessment, treatment, and management of a case load, using complex communication skills, judgment, discretion, and decision making.
The trainee ACP will monitor and improve standards of care, supervising, teaching, and supporting colleagues providing skilled professional leadership. The trainee ACP will be required to adhere to all aspects of the ACP governance standards and framework.

This is a full-time trainee post and in order to apply for this post, you need to have a first degree in health-related discipline that includes a research focused module along with GCSE/Level 2(or equivalent) Maths and English certificate at Grade C/Level 4 or above (essential requirement for apprenticeship program).
The successful candidate will be promoted as a band 8a Advanced Clinical Practitioner, after the completion of the master's in advanced clinical Practice as well as meeting the requirements of the ACP competencies.
Applicants who apply for trainee posts will have appropriate training and access to funding to support completion of Masters.
