Full Job Description
Working within a large and vibrant team of audiologists,clinical scientists, assistant audiologists and administration staff. This postis responsible for working within the adult vestibular audiology service. Thisinvolves undertaking vestibular assessment and rehabilitation with adultpatients in Berkshire, working primarily at King Edward VII Hospital inWindsor. This role will involve seeing adult patients, referred from communityand acute settings. Main duties of the job Vestibularassessment and rehabilitation, including comprehensive history take. VNG, vHIT,Vestibular Rehabilitation, testing and treatment for BPPV, caloric testing andVEMP testing. Ability tocreate and complete reports in a timely manner. Ability togather data, compile information, and prepare reports and to follow protocolsand make onward red flag referrals where necessary. Relevantpractical knowledge and experience. Essential
- STP, or in Clinical Audiological Science and Certificate of Audiological Competence or BAAT or PTP or BSc in Audiology.
- Clinical skills and management to appropriate standard of independent practice as supported by or working towards State Registration HCPC / RCCPMSc in Audiology with competency certificate. Experience Essential
- Experienced Clinical Audiologist with current experience of managing balance clinics / Patients.
