Band 7 - Ward Manager - Ladden Ward

Secure Services are looking to appoint a B7 Ward Manager for Ladden Brook ward at Fromeside medium secure unit.
The successful candidate would be working closely with within a wide ranging MDT, Modern Matron and an experienced Ladden Brook nursing team.
This is a demanding and rewarding post where the ward manager is pivotal in ensuring standards and performance are maintained at the highest levels. The person we are looking for should be able to demonstrate key leadership skills to empower the nursing team as they strive to achieve standards of care in line with both the Trust and National guidance.
We are currently working hard to develop and improve our services in Secure and we require outward thinking and innovative approaches from our staff whilst remaining committed to maintaining safety and security., The role will incorporate managing and developing inpatient staff, being involved with clinical complex care reviews and decision-making, championing new ideas and facilitating them into practice. We are also looking for someone motivated and interesting in continuing the reducing restrictive practice work this team has achieved.
This role involves:
· Planning and co-ordinating the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment
· Roster management
·Quality improvement objectives
·Ensuring the ward complies with statutory regulations, current legislation and meets quality standards
·Responsibility for efficient and effective use of nursing resources
