Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, innovative and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join our team of senior pharmacists.
The post holder will be a highly experienced specialist pharmacist responsible for the delivery and day to day management of clinical pharmacy to Women's services within the Women and Children Directorate.
The standard core hours are 30 per week., They will provide the training and clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
They will provide expert advice in pharmaceutical matters, undertaking risk management and ensuring compliance with medicines legislation.
They will facilitate and support the safe, efficient, legal and cost-effective use of medicines and promote high quality pharmaceutical care to patients.
The post holder will work closely with Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager and Pharmacy Team Lead for Surgery for the development of clinical pharmacy services with Women's Services, establishing clearly defined role for the Highly Specialist (Advanced) Pharmacist as a non-medical prescriber to be a key member of the Early Pregnancy Unit, Gynae day assessment unit and Gynae Ambulatory Care unit and lead the team for a Hyperemesis Day Centre.
