Full Job Description

The post holder is responsible for managing and advising on STP Pathology contracts to ensure the contracting party delivers the key contractual obligations.

This will involve working closely with Divisions to understand the processes and context of the service., o Support the PBU with contract drafting and set up of new commercial contracts.o Accountable for providing advice and guidance to support development and production of contract strategy for the CA,o Initiate and implement appropriate systems, processeso Use expert knowledge and understanding to provide detailed and complex analysis of business issues.o Responsible for ensuring clarity around all lead and associate contract arrangements.o Responsible for contract development and contract finalisation,o Responsible for supporting Service Specification production and negotiation for inclusion within contract documentationo Responsible for providing contract negotiation supporto Responsible for providing contract dispute resolution support to reach mutually acceptable solutions to contract issueso Responsible for ensuring that contract management is supported by provider activity and invoice validation and data quality review
