Band 8a - Finance and Business Manager, UK NEQAS

This is a broad-based role with responsibility for preparing the Unit finance reports and forecasts, managing monthly, quarterly and year-end budget reconciliations, and presenting these to the Units senior management team. The post is also responsible for analysing the financial impact of policy changes, identifying financial risks and opportunities, and managing contracts with non-UK service users. The post is accountable for the timely and accurate invoicing and credit control for UK NEQAS services and for the effective leadership of the Administrative team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong persuasion and negotiation skills to ensure projections and plans agreed with senior management team are realistic and achievable.
