The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Leading on medication safety throughout the organisation and promote a positive culture around reporting medication errors and incidents. Providing highly complex medication safety related information, advice and education to all staff groups who handle medicines and patients. Ensuring appropriate audits are conducted across the organisation in relation to safe and effective use of medicines to ensure compliance with legislation and national medication safety initiatives, and that changes are implemented as a result. Working autonomously but build appropriate internal and external networks. Prioritise work appropriately, responding to urgent matters in a timely manner. be considered for this role, qualifications and memberships detailed must be held in full, prior to submitting your application. Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance.
