BHRUT maternity department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Consultant midwife for Public Health that is passionate about public health. The post holder will be vital in the development of our services, supporting with public health initiatives in maternity settings. The post holder will be a strong leader and support to colleagues, working closely alongside the Consultant Midwife for Midwifery led care, Head of Midwifery, Director of Midwifery, Better Births Lead midwife and other specialist MDT staff. The post holder will be an advocate for women, supporting and advising them appropriately. Here at BHRUT we work with a diverse community and a delivery of over 6500 births yearly. If you are interested we look forward to hearing from you., To lead significant service development in public health and provide inspirational leadership to experienced midwives and act as an exemplary role model to hospital and community staff and pre-registration student midwives for all issues relating to midwifery

Patients across north east London are benefitting from two new state of the art theatres at KGH and our Community Diagnostic Centres at Barking Community Hospital and St George's Health and Wellbeing Hub will significantly increase the number of scans that can be carried out.

We're looking forward to introducing an electronic patient record next year. This will mean the records of any patient visiting one of the seven hospitals run by BHRUT and Barts Health will be accessible to the clinical teams. It'll make things easier for staff and will be better for patients.
