We are looking for a strong operational and strategic leader to join us, put their mark on the service, and continue to drive, develop and motivate the special teams we have in place.
The post holder will deliver on the the operational management of dental services, providing a high quality service in line with the Trusts values, suitable and robust governance frameworks and the achievement of performance targets, We really value the impact that you as a Clinical Director will have on our patients and services; we therefore may be able to offer a benefits package (subject to criteria) which includes:

Community services here in Somerset have historically provided a wider range of services and population access. We are instrumental in developing clinical dental pathways for the South West, our Consultant also being Chair of the SCD Managed Clinical Network.
As well as key input into many stakeholder groups, we enjoy recognition and support from the Trust leadership, and close ties with external colleagues such as the South West Regional Chief Dentist.

Community Dental Services are a Consultant Led service with many benefits:
+ Clear job planning and framework for management and clinical supervision
+ Variety of work - inhalation Sedation, IV, General Anaesthetic clinics all possible
+ Appointment times range from 30-90 minutes
+ Monday-Friday 0830-1700 with 1 hour for lunch, 75% patient facing workhours, 25% non-patient facing hours
+ Invested in consistent and highly skilled dental nurse team support
+ Mature business structure to support and take on claim and administration duties
