Full Job Description

Our Team is tight knit and work well together. The ideal candidate will be providing admin and clerical duties to different departments and wards.
The RNOH recognises that vaccination remains the best line of defence against COVID19 and encourages and supports all staff to be vaccinated., To prep case notes for clinics and ensure they are available in good time.
To register patients on Patients Administration System (PAS) ensuring all information required is available.
To book follow up and ward discharge appointments.
Ensuring that case note tracking is carried out in accordance with the Trust's computerised case note tracking system.
Dealing with telephone enquiries and assisting callers to the department.
To ensure that good housekeeping and working practices are demonstrated at all times.
Assisting with general office duties as requested by the supervisor/Manager.
Responsibility for maintaining the repair of case notes and x-rays, in line with the trust's standard of record keeping policy., The Trust uses electronic new starter forms on Trac to collect personal details. Information collected is securely stored and used to set up the employee record on the ESR HR system.
If you are offered a role with one of the NLPSS partner trusts, as part of pre-employment checks your identity and right to work documentation will be verified remotely (in most circumstances), using a certified identity verification service provider TrustID. You will be asked to capture an image of the relevant documents as well as a "selfie" using your smartphone/tablet (if available) for facial matching. The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital operates an Admin and Clerical Bank, which plays and important role in providing comprehensive clerical support to the directorates across the Trust. We offer full time hours on longer-term placements and we are seeking competent and reliable staff who can demonstrate a strong customer focused approach who would like to join the Admin and Clerical Bank. As a clerical worker you will provide general clerical support to the area that you have been assigned to which may include reception, data entry, filing, ordering supplies, taking telephone calls, photocopying.
If you have a flexible, reliable and adaptable approach you can contribute to the smooth running of the organization. You will have a pleasant telephone manner and good communication skills are essential. You will also be computer literate with experience of Word and Excel.
