Are you looking for a new challenge? Want to be part of an innovative forward-thinking team?
This post is suitable for Pharmacists from all backgrounds of Pharmacist working environments.
We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic pharmacists to join our friendly pharmacy team, currently spread across our 2 acute sites, with a view to expanding into our 3rdsite in a Goole. We have a number of vacant posts that will be initially based at one of our acute sites, with a view to becoming sitewide.
You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills, have variety and participate in quality improvement developments, as well as being part of a cohesive, friendly, and supportive team.
The successful candidates will provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services as members of our ward-based teams. This post provides an ideal opportunity for either newly qualified pharmacists looking for their first post in an acute hospital or for existing Band 6 pharmacists looking for experience working at a Band 7 level.
So, if you are a highly motivated pharmacist or pharmacist to be, and you are looking for an exciting challenge, why not come and join our team at Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust? We are looking forward to meeting you! Site visits are available on request.
We are a successful, innovative and forward-thinking department, with patient care at the centre of our decision-making. Our Trust gives medicines management and medicines optimisation high priority. We have invested in a purpose-built, state of the art, aseptic unit. The pharmacy department has been successful in outsourcing outpatient dispensing, implementing electronic medicines management for all inpatient wards and rolled out electronic prescribing in our haematology and oncology service. Our department is also in the country to have worked with external stakeholders to develop community infusion clinics. We also led on the introduction of unique electronic locking systems for medicine cupboards which releases significant nursing time and improves medicines security. Our next major objectives are to implement electronic prescribing for all our inpatient and outpatient ward areas.
We're a large organisation with three hospitals located in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole. We also provide community services in North Lincolnshire. Our 6,500 members of staff care for and support a population of more than 400,000 people.
We encourage all our staff to innovate and adopt 'best practice' so we can deliver excellent care to our patients. We ask staff to live our values; kindness, courage and respect.
We are committed to recruiting the best people to work with us. You could be one of them.
