Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a bank administrator for the Crisis Resolution Team for AAW. The working hours for the post are 9-5pm Mon - Fri.

This is a busy role with a varied workload and therefore you will need to be able to work independently and be enthusiastic, flexible and creative in your approach.

The role includes a lot of telephone communication and processing of referrals. You will provide support to a broad multi-disciplinary team, dealing with queries from clients, Doctors, other agencies and members of the public as well as the competing demands of our clinical team.

You will update and collate information to keep our patient information current and compliant.,

  • Dealing sensitively with people, both on the telephone and in person, taking accurate messages and relaying them to the appropriate people and/or taking follow up action as required using appropriate initiative.

  • Providing admin support to the Liaison Suite.

  • To be able to work unsupervised and prioritise workload on a day to day basis, liaising with other team members to ensure continuity of service at all times

  • Undertake any other duties necessary in the interests of the service and to raise concerns where necessary which may affect efficient provision of service.


  • You will be joining a team of supportive colleagues who are committed to delivering an effective administration service, in order to support the care that our clinical teams provide to service users.

    We provide mental health and learning disability care for children, young people and adults across Sussex and for children and young people in Hampshire.
