Your Journey Being a 'Bank Early Years Educator' offers the flexibility you need while playing a crucial role in providing care and building bonds with children and their families. You will assist with various routines across our age ranges, including naptimes, mealtimes, and creating engaging, personalised experiences for each child. • Building caring relationships with children, families and your team
• Interacting with children in a respectful, responsible, age-appropriate way that is responsive to their needs
• Succeeding as a team by following the guidance of the Room Leader and making them aware of the children's needs
• Providing a consistent and reliable atmosphere to build trust
• Communicating and giving feedback to parents during handovers
• Telling managers your availability in advance of time and reliably committing to shifts
You will need…
• Practical knowledge of developmental stages of under fives. This should come alongside a natural passion for supporting and caring for young children which may have come alongside some practical experience of caring for relatives or childminding experience.
• A level 2/level 3 qualification in Childcare
• Have a minimum grade 4 or grade C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
• To create strong bonds for each child within your room leading an effective key person system, safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality
