Are you looking for a new opportunity? Are you a reliable, hardworking individual who thrives in a busy environment?, To provide and facilitate an expert level of autonomous practice to patients in the Emergency Department by assessing, investigating/interpreting, diagnosing, treating and discharging/ referring patients with minor injuries/illness in the department, without reference to a medical practitioner. Whilst working under agreed protocols.

To provide expert clinical and professional advice and support to the multidisciplinary team within the Emergency department, Trust wide and externally on the speciality of Minor Injuries/illness.

To provide an efficient and high-quality level of care for the injuries/illness patient whilst reducing waiting times and meeting government targets.

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Pactitioner to support our team on the staff bank when there are shortfalls in the roster. We are looking for someone that has all the relevant skills to work autonomously in the urgent treatment centre seeing and treating patients that have a minor injury. This is a 7 day service and is based in the urgent treatment centre. We see both children and adults. A variety of injuries are seen in the UTC, including burns, fractures, and wounds.
