Full Job Description

University Hospitals Dorset are looking to recruit a Bank General Maintenance Assistant to join the Estates Team. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a keen understanding of all modern general maintenance activities, both reactive and planned; they will require a willingness to learn, be a dedicated team player and have a proven track record. The successful candidate will need to be able to work unsupervised and at times have a flexible approach working hours. Knowledge of at least one of the following subjects would be a major advantage although training will be given:

  • Control of Legionella
  • Inspection and Testing of Fire Doors
  • Testing of emergency lighting
