Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Whatton, a catergory C mens prison located in Nottingham Hours The site currently offers bank shifts. How will we support you?

  • Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks What you'll be doing As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will
  • Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care
  • Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

    NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills and IT literacy
  • Ability to work within a busy environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
