Full Job Description

A Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) is a core member of the team delivering personal care to patients and supporting registered practitioners to deliver high quality, compassionate care. You will carry out a range of non-clinical healthcare tasks, under the direct supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner. Your role is to provide compassionate care, to agreed quality standards and in accordance with Trust values.

Please note, to be successful as a Healthcare Support Worker for NBTeXtra, you will need to have a minimum of 6 months previous experience of working as a Healthcare Support Worker or in a similar care role. If you are a Student Nurse, please state clearly in your supporting information the year of study you are currently in and the university you are studying with.

  • As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be paid at Band 2: - £13.54 per hour- Week days - £19.09
  • per hour- Nights and Saturdays - £24.78 per hour- Sundays and Bank Holidays All rates are inclusive of annual leave allowance, £13.54 to £24.78 an hour per hour (inclusive of A/L)
