Bank Midwife Band 6

We are looking for experienced Midwives who are currently registered to practice within the UK and are interested in joining our teams as bank staff. The role is usually based within the labour ward, antenatal and postnatal ward settings but we are keen to hear from midwives confident working in the assessment unit setting. We have regular shifts available across our trust at both Darlington Memorial Hosptial and The University Hospital of North Durham. In return we can offer a bespoke training and development programme whilst also recognising the value of prior learning in your speciality. We are really excited about the opportunity to invite experienced midwives to apply to join our Bank Teams to help deliver outstanding, Intrapartum, Antenatal and Postnatal Care to the mothers and families in our area. This includes working within the UNICEF framework for Infant Feeding, and close working relationships with our Screening Team, to deliver all elements of the National Screening programme.
