Bank on call driver

A vacancy has arisen within our Courier department for a Bank On call Driver based at Yeovil District Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to join our team

The Courier service will be running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week., The courier service delivers pharmaceutical drugs, medicines and other consumables and supplies to Healthcare establishments throughout Somerset and Dorset. The on call driver will be responsible to transporting staff and/or patients either to or from Yeovil District Hospital

The courier/driver will play a key role in ensuring that patients receive vital drugs and supplies in a timely manner, and transporting staff and/or patients to support discharge

A standby payment will be paid for the total hours you are on call and then an hourly rate will be paid for the duration you are called out.
