Full Job Description

Maintain all operational procedures. Maintenance of computerised records as appropriate. Compiling reports, data as required. Involvement in the review of departmental work instructions and procedures. Enforce compliance with the Waste Management Policy to meet changing requirements as segregation requirements increase. Ensure portering staff are fully aware of and comply with Hygiene and attend regular update training with Infection Control. Lead, implement and deliver into facilities operational procedures and services that the Trust has agreed in the Sustainability and Carbon Reduction Strategy. Assisting with the transfer of bodies from wards to the mortuary, completion of appropriate records. Work with the Accommodation department to enable a smooth changeover of tenants within the residential accommodation and assist with day to day problems Maintain the operation of the Car Parking system and associated car parks.

Specialist Regional Services We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
