Full Job Description

  • Helping our customers overcome barriers and help them lead a fulfilling and meaningful life and reach their true potential.

  • Supporting our customers using Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion through person centred support.
  • Monitoring our customers' mental and physical health to identify any signs of deterioration and take positive risk management to their health and wellbeing.

Deb has loads of experience in working with customers with both mental health and learning disabilities. Outside of work you'll find her supporting her local football team, spending quality time with her family and just loves cooking for friends.,
  • Flexible working hours
  • We pay £50 per sleep in shift
  • Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues.
  • You'll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that!
  • Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role. This remains under regular review.

  • Experience in a Complex Care setting, with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or are prepared to work towards it.
  • Flexibility to work at short notice, as you'll be the one picking your next shift.
  • You're a real people person, confident to work in different services or locations or teams and get on with colleagues.
  • Worked as a Support Worker, supporting people with complex needs, or behaviours of distress.
  • A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to X's needs, as well as to the specific occasion and circumstances, even when they challenge us.
  • Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues., Disability Confident

    Pay £12.61 per hour, plus sleep in shifts (£50 per shift) and great benefits too!,

  • This is a job with weekly pay and you'll be paid 1 week in arrears from when you worked.
