Hours: Zero hours to include bank holidays and weekends as and when needed. The post holder will be an integral member of the Furniture store team, collecting and delivering Furniture from Customers homes in and around North Derbyshire as well as completing community collections and deliveries to donors and members of the public. Our Retail outlets provide 29% of much-needed income to the hospice. This is vital to be able to provide care to the people of Derbyshire. The hospice has 15 retail shops,1 furniture warehouse a Donation centre, 2 Clearance shops and 2 Coffee shops! We also have an online eBay platform and an online furniture store, It's a big operation! We are looking for two Bank Retail Van Drivers to join our team. This job role is hard work, enormous fun, hugely satisfying and very fascinating. The role involves driving a collection/delivery vehicle to manage around 10 daily deliveries or collections, including picking up items from donors' homes and transporting them to the retail shop or warehouse. Responsibilities include maintaining courtesy with the public, staff, and volunteers, organising items in the warehouse, and using initiative to streamline operations while managing time effectively. Adherence to Hospice policies on Health & Safety, Confidentiality, and Data Protection is essential, along with maintaining the vehicle's cleanliness and basic upkeep. The role also involves supporting volunteers, occasionally handling cash or cheque donations following finance procedures, participating in required training, and ensuring confidentiality in all aspects of the work.   • Full Clean drivers licence
