Full Job Description
As a Bank Senior Recovery Worker, you will deliver a range of recovery focussed interventions to maximise individual and community assets to promote social inclusion, recovery, wellbeing and independence.
You will promote and achieve recovery and social inclusion through offering information, advice and guidance and developing opportunities for service users in areas such as employment, volunteering, health, leisure, wellbeing and education. As well as take on senior tasks & responsibilities as assigned by management to ensure that the service runs effectively day to day.
As a Bank Senior Recovery Worker you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities ensuring values based support is delivered to the highest standard so previous care experience is essential.
Applicants should have a Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this, as well as a working knowledge and understanding of diversity of mental health conditions., Disability Confident

We have an opportunity available for a Bank Senior Recovery Worker to join the team at Inspiring Minds - Lancashire Supported Living Rehabilitation Service based in Preston, Lancashire PR1 7QE.
The service contains 5 beds and will provide intermediate short term rehabilitation support to adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and individuals on the autistic spectrum and is designed to be a personalised, interactive and collaborative process, reflecting the whole person. It will enable individuals to maximise their potential to live a full and active life within their family, social networks, education/training and the workplace where appropriate, in the context of their mental health and promote recovery.
Salary: £12.75 hourly
